Forum (Discussion Group)

Commonly know as a "Chat Room", this online communication hub allows users to come in and have discussions on different topics, ask questions, get user support, etc.  This format is more similar to email than the Blog which is more article or document oriented.  A Forum is divided into subject areas and members can post questions or comments in a format where the discussion is link to together in what is called a "thread". New "threads" can be started by any time.  The thread holds together a conversation in the order in which messages where posted.
