How to add a PDF document to your HotSpot.

You can link a PDF document into your HotSpot Content Manager by following these steps.

 

1) Log in to your HotSpot Admin console

2) Write in some text that will describe the PDF document that you want to link.  For example, if you want to put an event flyer PDF on your website, you might want to type in "Download Event Flyer Here"

3) Highlight the link text with your mouse and click the link button in your text formating header.

4) The link pop up window will appear.  Click on the Browse Server button.

5) A second window will come up which will allow you to browse your computer for the PDF file.  At the bottom of the second window click the "Browse" button to get the file.  Once you have found the file click the "Upload" button in the bottom right hand corner.

6) The file will then appear at the top of the second window.  Click the file.  The file link will appear in the first window.  Click "OK"

7) Your PDF is now linked into your website text.
