Using SonicRegistration Systems - Manager

Help and instructions for using the SonicRegistration Systems

The SonicRegistration system is designed as a plugin tool for anyone in need to register people for an event. This article will guide you in using the system for your business.

The system main page has four modules that will help you manage your event registration:

  • Partner Registration Manager
  • On-Site Registration
  • Display Event Registration
  • Event Confirmation Management

Partner Registration Manager

This tool allows you to encourage Vendors, Exhibitors, Sponsors and other Partners in your event to manage the attendees that they bring to your event.

If you want your "partners" to help market your event then this is one way to manage a system to give them credit for their efforts.

On-Site Registration

During your event you can continue to input registrants into the system. This will ultimately allow you to have a complete database of registrants to use for future events and other marketing projects.  This login requires your unique "event code" along with your login and password. This will be given to you by SonicSpider during the setup of your event.

Display Event Registrations

As you are marketing your event you want to monitor the progress of your marketing efforts. How many have registered? How to contact a registrant that left a message with a problem? You can print this table anytime.  Once your event is over you can come back anytime using that event code and your login to display these records.  SonicSpider will also export your data for this event in any of the following formats:

  • Insert SQL statements
  • dBase Firl (DBF)
  • Padded Text File (TXT)
  • Microsoft Excel File (XLS)
  • Comma Separated Values File (CSV)
  • Lotus 1-2-3 Files (WK?)
  • Data Interchange Format File (DIF)
  • XML File (XML)

Event Confirmation Management

During your ramp-up to your event you may need  a way to track confirmations or payments (Your SonicRegistration can be attached to any number of payment gateways, contact SonicSpider for that information)  This is a simple tool for keeping track of your registrants status.

You will be presented with two views of your registrant database: Unconfirmed and Confirmed. You can move registrants between these two "buckets" as you keep track of each type of registrant.

The first "bucket" is the Unconfirmed. The SonicRegistration system places all new registrants in the "pending" status.  From here they can be move to the next "bucket" or back as you manage these lists.  you can also email a registrant and remove them if there was some issue or problem that cause them to nolonger to be a registrant for this event.

When you click "Confirm" the registrant is moved to the Confirmed "bucket". Ultimately you can print this list to give you a final tally of your registrants.
