How To: Placing Images in Blog
This is a very brief tutorial on how to place images into your blog entry. There is a more detailed description found in the main SonicWeblog site under FAQs
In the toolbar you will find the image icon:
Click this icon and that will bring up the Image Properties dialog.
The URL text field is where the path to the image you want to embed into your blog goes. This image can be anywhere on the Internet.
Generally, the image you want is on your local machine, therefore the imabe file needs to be uploaded to the server. To do that, click "Browse Server" and that will bring up the Image Browser:
If you have never uploaded images for your blog the "Image" folder will be empty. You will need to "Upload" images into this folder. To do that look at the bottom of the Brower window and you will see the upload tool bar:
Click Browse and navigate to the location on your local machine where you store your images you want to use. After you select the image in the "file browser" it will show up in the text field next to the Browse buttion. Then click the "Upload" button and it will show up in the main folder area.
To select this image, just click the image name in the main folder and it will return you to the Image Properties window with that path inserted into the URL field.
Click OK and it will be inserted into your blog.
Repeat this for all other files you want to embed.
